This quilted wall hanging celebrates the life of my mother and was made to commemorate the 35th anniversary of her death.   She is surrounded by photographs of herself as a child and young adult.  Her children and grandchildren appear in the corners of the quilt. The quilt is embellished with pearl beads and mother-of pearl buttons, as well as a small bouquet of silk roses.
